ITEMS MUST BE IN BRAND NEW CONDITION FOR SIZE CORRECTION EXCHANGES and returns. If you want to exchange your outfit FREE OF CHARGE for another size and your desired fabric or outfit size is out of stock we may have to order fabric online which can take up to two weeks maximum time unless the fabric is available locally. If the outfits is un-sale-able meaning damaged or worn there will be no refund.
REPLACEMENT & REPAIR GUARANTEE (There is a 50% restocking fee on returns due to the work we have to put into any outfit even before it arrives at your door-step.) We custom make items therefore we shop for you, cut and stitch, buy your postage, we plan and put all of our other orders and resources on hold till yours is finished. We encourage you to use our lenient exchange policy rather than returns.
The costume Lady guarantees stitching and accessories for 30 days if any item is defective it will be repaired free of charge if sent back within 30 days of purchase. Buyer in U.S is responsible for postage one way outside U.S both ways. Outfit abuse is not covered by the guarantee. Outfit abuse is as follows:
Articles with dryer heat damage are not covered, rips due to excessive stress are not covered, if your article is washed with dark running colors and becomes discolored it is not covered, rhinestones are not covered after 30 days, alterations are not covered except when your outfit is too large or too small all other alterations are considered “special order” and fees will apply, extra-large sizes cost extra due to reinforced elastic requirements and added fabric. Outfits with rhinestones or metal chain that have been exposed to chlorine or saltwater are not guaranteed.
Hand wash your outfit hang air dry. Dryer heat can melt spandex! Metal chains do not do well in excessive water neither do rhinestones. Hand wash cold water. Do not soak for extended lengths of time. No bleach! Use mild laundry soap. Do not swim in chlorine or salt water if your item has metal chain or rhinestones. Chain will “turn” color in chlorine and salt water. Rhinestones are not guaranteed if exposed to salt and chlorine. If outfits are left in the car under excessive sunshine or temperatures in excessive of 120 degrees you may encounter some fabric “sticking” due to glue heating up then cooling down which causes fabric to temporarily stick together in spots. Do not be afraid to gently pull the sticking fabric back apart it will not harm the outfit in any way nor will it affect the rhinestones.
